HABITS
You need to stack habits
Build the habit first with an easier version of the thing you're trying to do. If you wanna wake up early and workout. Just wake up and watch TV, much easier.
Reward yourself for checking off your habits.
Daily is much easier than 2 or 3 days a week.
- Once you can wake up early, chain that with an easy workout.
- Once you can do that, make the workout harder.
- Once you can do that, add a stretching at the end.
- Once you can do that, add a small meditation.
- Once you can do that, reward yourself with a nice smoothie.
- Slowly make the smoothie healthier.
- Etc
ACCOUNTABILITY
Create accountability where you can
Tell people you trust that you’re gonna do something. Then do it every day.
Know yourself and outsmart yourself. If you can’t resist checking social media, delete it. If you can’t resist a cookie, give it away.
If you really wanna achieve something, announce it publicly. If this doesn’t work for you, don’t and be accountable to yourself.
Do more of what works. Measure your effort and measure the outcome.
